Bobo is in the Brazilian national squad
Brazil coach Dunga has called up young striker of Besiktas Bobo to replace injured player Pato for friendly match against Ireland in Dublin.
The Brazilian Soccer Confederation announced on its web site that Besiktas 23-year-old striker Deivson Rogerio Da Silva Bobo has called into Brazil’s team for Wednesday’s friendly against Ireland. It is Bobo's first call-up in the national squad. He has been in excellent form for Besiktas so far.

Can't win if you can't score
Black Eagles lost 1-0 against host Caykur Rize at first-leg of Fortis Turkish Cup quarterfinal match.
Besiktas dominated almost the entire game but missed clear chances with Da Silva Bobo mostly at the first half. Rize's Brazilian striker Anderson scoring the only goal of the game thanks to crucial mistake of Besiktas defender Ibrahim Kas in the 74th minute. Return leg will be played on 27th February in İstanbul.

Gordon Schienfield joined Besiktas
Besiktas gave up the transfer of Dino Drpic and have signed his old team-mate 23-year-old Croatian defender Gordon Schienfield from Dinamo Zagreb on a 3,5 year contract.
Schildenfeld is wearing the jersey of Croatian under-21 team, is especially dominant in the air. The young player is expected to be one of the indispensable players of Croatian national team in near future.

Besiktas kept on coming from down to overcome
Black Eagles made 6 wins in last 6 Super League games with 3-1 defeat of Gaziantepspor in Inonu Stadium.
Visitors took the lead through Cristian Zurita in the 20th minute. Edouard Cisse levelled for Besiktas before the break.
Besiktas constantly pressured Gaziantep during the second half and went close several times but ex-Besiktas goalkeeper Murat Sahin prevented the ball across the goal line until the 77th minute. Mert Nobre took the lead, then late substitute Ricardinho netted by tapping in a perfect cross from Filip Holosko in the 88th minute. Eagles won 7th game by coming from behind in TSL.

Besiktas made history in the ULEB Cup
Besiktas basketball team completed their ULEB Cup's group stages undefeated with a 78-55 victory over French side Elan Chalon.
Eagles made 10 wins in 10 games and experienced the enjoyment of becoming the only team in ULEB Cup’s history to complete the group stages with an undefeated record.
Coach Ergin Ataman agreed that this was just the beginning. "Of course it's a great honor for us to finish the first round without a loss and set a record in the ULEB Cup,” said Ataman. “But we still have nothing in our hands. It will only matter if we win something.”

Besiktas won the game from 2 goals down
Eagles bet bottom-club Kasimpasa 4-2 by coming from behind as their several games in TSL. Besiktas fans retrieved their team after 50 days with that match in Inonu Stadium.
Besiktas were 1-0 down only after one minute from the start with Ozgur's goal. He doubled the score in the 20th minute. Black Eagles responsed just a minute later with Nobre's header. Edouard Cisse equalized the score with another header ten minutes before the break.
Matias Delgado gave Besiktas a 69th minute lead with a classy shot from outside the box. Mert Nobre rewarded the fourth goal in the 81st and match reached the end with 4-2 score.

1 point at the last match of Turkey Cup
Besiktas drew 1-1 by Ankaragucu at Capital Ankara. Eagles carried their qualification hopes into the last games which will be played between other teams of Group A.
Gökhan gave the home side a 40th minute lead. Da Silva Bobo equalized the score in the 52nd minute. Eagle's defender Baki was sent off for an unnecessary challenge at 10 minutes before to end of the game, it was his second yellow-card. Besiktas up their points to 7 and maintained their leadership by that draw.

Kaya Peker awarded as MVP of ULEB Cup week 9
Besiktas Basketball team's Turkish national pivot Kaya Peker awarded as the most valuable player of 9th week by the official site of ULEB Cup.
Peker led Besiktas to a 80-94 road win against Ovarense Aerosoles with 25 points on 11-for-12 two-point shooting and 10 rebounds. He added 3 steals, 3 blocks and 5 fouls drawn for a 38 index.

The last minute goal made Eagles alive
Black Eagles managed to remain in the top spot of the league table by beating Konyaspor 2-1 at Konya with Mert Nobre's last minute goal.
Sedat made the hosts in front at 14th minute, Besiktas forced to press forward to find equalizer but 1st half was over with 1-0 lead for Konya. Ibrahim Toraman levelled the scores in 49th minute by perfect header. Bobo found two clear changes for goal but could not make it. Eagles pressed more on last minutes and substitute Nobre rewarded deep in the dying seconds by forced the ball which came from Tello's long-range pass to Bobo.

Besiktas is keep on rising in IFFHS rankings
Besiktas football team moved up 6 places on international rankings according to International Football History and Statistics Federation (IFFHS).
A total of 178 points enabled Black and Whites to pass 6 teams and take the 26th place while Fenerbahçe 22nd and Galatasaray 85th. Spanish team Sevilla is at the top on rankings with 306 points.

Victory with 3 goals despite the empty stands
Black Eagles bet Ankaraspor by 3 goals to 1 in its 3rd Fortis Turkish Cup group game which was played in front of the empty stands in Inonu Stadium due to the ban of the Club.

The division-leading Besiktas Cola Turka maintained its undefeated record by beating Serbian FMP Zeleznik 77-76 at Cola Turka Arena in its 8th ULEB Cup game.
Beşiktaş basketball team is the only one which remained undefeated among the ULEB Cup divisions.

Eagles won with four goals
Goals from Cisse, Nobre, Higuain and young midfielder Aydin Karabulut ensured Beşiktaş a 4-0 victory against host 2.Division team Diski in the 2nd group game of the Fortis Turkey Cup.
Our new transfer, Filip Holosko replaced with Batuhan Karadeniz in the break for its first official game and made smooth asist to Nobre at second goal. That win took Eagles to top of the Group A after loosing against Çaykur Rize in the first group match.

Holosko joined Besiktas
Besiktas have signed 23-year-old Slovakia striker Filip Holosko from Vestel Manisaspor in midseason.
His exchange deal move to Beşiktaş was worth €5m with 2 midfielders; Burak Yilmaz and Koray Avcı.

Besiktas reached 34 points at the half of the season
Eagles kept up the pressure at the top of the Turkish Super Lig with a 2-1 victory at Manisaspor.
Ugur Inceman gave the hosts a 24th minute lead but Bobo equalised for Besiktas from the penalty spot shortly before the interval. The Brazilian striker then grabbed what proved to be the winner after 54 minutes. Besiktas remain fourth after the result, but are just a point behind leaders Galatasaray. Eagles finished the half of the season with 34 points at fourth place.

Besiktas won 3-1 against visiting Ankaragücü in the 16th week of the Turkcell Super League.
Eagles set the pressure on their opponents in the early of the game. Rodrigo Tello opened the scoring with a classy free-kick in the 36th minute, then Serdar Ozkan doubled the score just before the half time and 1st half was over with 2-0 lead of Besiktas.
Visitors started the second half more attacking and header of Bebbe made the score 2-1 at 52nd minute. Besiktas managed to restore its two goal advantage on a long-range Delgado drive that bounced and past Ankaragücü goalkeeper Serkan in the 67th minute. Game ended with 3-1 score and Black eagles decreased the point difference 4 with the leader of TSL.

Farewell to CL by loosing against Porto
Black eagles had gone for victory to Porto but they lost 2-0 and could not claw themselves off the bottom of Group A.
Opening of the game was tame, Besiktas created some promising attacks but could not convert them to significant positions. Porto started to set pressure at last minutes of the 1th half and Gonzalez got the ball rolling with a simple finish after some poor protesting for an offside decision by goalkeeper Rustu Recber left the Besiktas goal wide open at 44th minute.
Besiktas took response and went close to equalizer with Serdar Ozkan and Edouard Cisse just after the break. Porto doubled the lead with Quaresma at 62nd minute and game ended with 2-0 score. Home side booked their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League as the winners of Group A with that result while Besiktas finished the group at the bottom.

Besiktas won with Delgado
Besiktas won 1-0 at Bursa with Matias Delgado's crucial goal.
There was no permission by governorship to Besiktas fans for away support at Bursa because of animosity between fans of two teams for recent years.
Both teams played under control,there was struggle of midfield and no appreciable goal position during the match. Argentinian midfielder Matías Delgado scoring the only goal with Serdar Ozkan's intelligently pass in the 82nd minute. Eagles came off winner with valuable 3 points in hard away game at critical week of Turkcell Super League.
